Hindi Diwas is celebrated across the country on the 14th of September every year. to remember the historic occasion of Hindi being adopted by the Constituent Assembly of India as the official language of the Republic of India on the 14th of September in 1949.
We celebrated this significant day by organizing a special assembly which started with a speech highlighting the importance of Hindi in the country. The students recited poems in Hindi and spoke on the importance of the language in contemporary society. The entire assembly was conducted in Hindi with all the news sections read fluently by the children in Hindi. The school pledge was also read in Hindi. The students were also reminded of a few interesting facts related to the Hindi language. On this day, students were motivated to give speeches, write essays or perform other activities in the Hindi language, in their respective classes.
