Investiture Ceremony 2017-18

Lodha World School Palava, gives every opportunity to its students to be responsible citizens in the global scenario. Continuing in this endeavor on June 14th, 2017, deserving young students of the school have bestowed the responsibility of leading their school from the front with commitment, confidence and competence. The Investiture Ceremony marked a significant beginning to the new academic year 2017-18. It was a solemn occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge responsibilities entrusted to them by the school.

The ceremony began with a speech by the Principal, Mrs. Aditi Banerji stressing upon the importance of the event and how they are the chosen ones to be handed over the mantle of leadership. She also explained the duties that now fell upon their young shoulders and how they should always carry the torch of Lodha World School Palava high. The senior student council thanked the school management for giving them the opportunity to develop leadership skills. The newly appointed council members received badges and sashes from the Principal of the school.

The student council consisting of Head Boy Master Srikaran Perambuduri and Head Girl Ms. Ishwari Upasham, the captains and vice captains of the four houses, Sports Captain, Sports vice-captain and a disciplinary committee headed by Discipline captain Ms. Helly Dhamesha took the oath to abide by the school rules and uphold the school motto of loyalty, truth and honour in high esteem. Mrs. Banerji congratulated the office bearers and expressed her hope that the office bearers will work for the good of the institution and deliver to the best of their abilities. The students thanked the Principal for her encouraging words. The ceremony concluded with the singing of the School Song.
