The entire school wore a colourful, festive look, bedecked with garlands, festoons and streamers and with a beautiful flower rangoli at the entrance.
The school was adorned with beautiful paintings and craft displays by students from Grade I to VIII.
The art students of Grade IX and X displayed their paintings and craft exhibits in the hall while all the other classrooms were decorated with the beautiful creations of the students.
The Madhubani, Mosaic, Gond, Abstract, Charcoal and various other art forms dazzled the parents who were called in for this event. Students spoke about how they had created their artwork giving details about the colour schemes, medium used etc.
Some major attractions were a pebble painting corner, clay sculpting and a pottery corner where visitors could try out their talents. There was a long bee-line for the same.
The highlight of the event was a beautiful artwork of Gandhi, created by the Art teachers of Lodha World School, Palava which was displayed in the foyer.
The beautiful display of art and craft made the entire school take on the hues and tints of a rainbow and was indeed a fitting tribute to the memory of Gandhiji.
